Strategic Illustration System & Visual Storytelling for Word List Finder. Defined a comprehensive illustration language using strict brand color constraints. Developed a cinema-themed narrative and a scalable pattern library that unified the web experience and instructional infographics.
Creative Direction
The concept leverages pop-culture cinema references to inject personality into technical pages (like 404s). Character design focused on exaggerated, non-normative proportions to move away from generic stock styles and create a more inclusive, identifiable mood.
Visual Identity
I developed a bespoke pattern library derived directly from the brand mark geometry. This texture system allows for visual depth and hierarchy while strictly adhering to the limited color palette.
Final Outcome
A cohesive visual narrative that spans from homepage headers to functional error states. The system included comprehensive guidelines for infographics and vendors, ensuring a unified visual voice across all touchpoints.
